Project Healing Waters Atlanta

Trout Unlimited has several programs that help serve our nation's military and veterans through the Veteran's Service Partnership Program.

UCCTU's belief is that we should do all we can in this regard. Today we work closely with Project Healing Waters' program in Atlanta. Many of our members make themselves available weekly to help guide a vet on the water. As the PHW program grows there will be many opportunities for our members to help with fly tying, casting instruction, and rod building.

UCCTU member Cullen McClure is one of the Assistant Program Leads for PHW Atlanta and has this to say about his experience, "For 10+ years, I've had the honor to serve my community on various sports and school-related boards or leadership committees. While my time spent doing these activities was meaningful there is no comparison to the impact that I see made at every PHW event I've been lucky enough to participate in. I can't imagine a more worthy cause that one can take part in. Simply put, this program saves lives."
